I received a BFA from the Hartford School of Art in Illustration using wood block prints as my medium of choice. While attending the University of Hartford, one of my works was accepted into the Society of Illustrator’s annual exhibition in NYC. A short while later I received an honor in the Scarpetta d’oro international illustration competition in Stra, Italy.
I began my career creating all sorts of work; designing cake and product boxes, ads and posters for Carvel Ice Cream, creating software graphics and writing captions for educational publisher MacMillian McGraw-Hill, to creating ads and POS items for General Cigar. Some of my clients include international and Fortune 500 companies as well as non-profits and local farms. That is what keeps this job so interesting. No two jobs are ever the same…because no two companies needs are ever the same.
Although I work out of my studio in Bristol, Connecticut, I have completed jobs for people all over the country. I enjoy volunteering time within my community to local museums, non-profits and municipal committees.
